Let the phrase “State government” in the second last paragraph of the judgment and order dated 11th July, 2025 be replaced by “Garo Hills Autonomous District Council” in terms of the Garo Hills Autonomous District Land and Revenue Regulation, 1954 adopting the Assam Land and Revenue Regulation, 1886 and the rules made thereunder with some modifications. Advocate-on-Record for the petitioner will transmit all papers of the case to the Council within 10 days from date. No notice to any party is required as the correction in the order dated 11th July, 2025 has been made upon the Court discovering the above mistake on the face of its order.
