The Criminal Petition, under Section 482 of the BNSS, is filed on behalf of the petitioners herein/A1 and A3 to grant anticipatory bail in connection with Crime No.266 of 2024 of Tadikalapudi Police Station, Eluru District, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 109(1), 126(2), 115(2) and 351(2) read with 3(5) of the BNS.
2. Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Assistant Public Prosecutor representing the respondent/State. Perused the material on record.
3. Learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that the petitioners herein are innocents because of the enmity between two groups, the false allegations made against them. Learned counsel for the petitioners further would submit that after 24 hours case is lodged and hence, he prays to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners herein.
4. Learned Assistant Public Prosecutor vehemently opposed the prayer of the petitioner. Learned Assistant Public Prosecutor would submit that the wound certificate shows that the victim sustained

grievous injuries in the hands of the petitioners and further would submit that investigation is not completed and it is at crucial stage.
5. Considering the submissions made and on perusal of the material on record, it is seen that specific overtacts are made against petitioners herein. Moreover, the investigation in the present crime is not completed and it is at crucial stage and in the light of the specific overtacts made against the petitioners herein, causing grievous injuries to the victim, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners herein. However, as requested by the learned counsel for the petitioners, the petitioners are permitted to surrender before the Concerned Magistrate Court and move an application seeking regular bail.
6. Accordingly, the Criminal Petition is dismissed.
Miscellaneous applications pending, if any, shall stand closed.
