The petitioner has purchased rice from the farmers, hulling the same and selling the rice to the customers. On the panchanama conducted by the inspection respondent/Tahsildar has seized 600 bags of rice. On 05.11.2024, the petitioner has filed petition before the 2'''' respondent/Joint rd officer, the 3 I Collector to release the seized stock. The said petition was rejected vide Ref.No.l(2)/453/2024, dated 22.01.2025. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that without conducting proper enquiry, the respondents have seized the stock and the rice bags which are lying with the Joint Collector since 05.11.2024. She further asserts that the petitioner is ready to furnish third party security which is equivalent to the value of the rice bags and prayed to release the seized stock. Considering the submissions made by the petitioner, this Court deems it appropriate to dispose of the Writ Petition directing the 2"^^ respondent to consider the third party security furnished by the petitioner which is equivalent to the stock seized i.e., rice bags and pass appropriate orders for releasing the said stock within a -period of two (2) weeks from today.
