Today, the learned counsel for the appellant has placed a communication issued by the I.I.M., Kashipur. The instructions issued to the counsel read as under:- “Mr. Tanish Kochhar, In compliance of order dated 11.08.2025 passed by the Hon’ble High Court of Uttarakhand at Nainital in Writ Petition No.2372 of 2025 (M/S), Tanish Kochhar Versus I.I.M. Kashipur, you are hereby promoted to the second year of the MBA (Analytics) Programme Batch 2024-26. Important followings to your promotion in the second year of the Programme - 1) You are provisionally permitted to enroll in and attend Term V classes of the second-year MBA (Analytics) Programme, Batch 2024-26. 2) You may register for the required analytics and management electives, along with the core courses, in accordance with the Integrated Participants’ Handbook (Batch 2024-26). 3) For your dissertation, please identify and approach a faculty member whose research interests align with yours. Upon mutual agreement, you may commence 1 2025:UHC:7802-DB your dissertation work as outlined in the Integrated Participants’ Handbook. 4) You are advised to enroll in 2-3 industry workshops offered to the second-year cohort of Batch 2024-26. 5) Term V fees must be paid once the registration and fee payment portal is made available. 6) You will be given 20% leeway in attending classes as mentioned in the participants’ handbook. Any absence beyond this threshold will result in a grade penalty, as specified in the Participants’ Handbook. 7) Please be informed that your enrollment in the second year MBA Analytics Programme is provisional and subject to change based on the outcome of the further court order. 8) The MBA (Analytics) Degree awarding to you is also subjected to the final outcome of court orders in the above-mentioned writ petition.
