HIGH COURT OF JUDICATURE AT ALLAHABAD WRIT - C No. - 35562 of 2025 Court No. - 9 HON'BLE ARUN KUMAR, J. Heard Sri Kunwar Bahadur Dixit, learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel for the State respondents. The present petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking a direction to respondent no. 2 not to transfer any units from his fair price shop to another fair price shop in the same area. It is contended by the counsel for the petitioner that after cancellation of the fair price shop licence allotted to one Smt. Neelam Gupta, the units attached with her shops, were transferred to his shop. After the restoration of the fair price shop in favour of Smt. Neelam Gupta in pursuance of the order of this Court dated 1.7.2025, passed in Writ-C No. 33161 of 2024, he has apprehension that some units of his shop will also be transferred to the shop of Smt. Neelam Gupta. The aforesaid apprehension of the petitioner is absolutely baseless and misconceived. As such, no direction can be issued to the respondents in exercise of power under Article 226 of the Constitution of India. The writ petition, accordingly, is dismissed.
