For Petitioner(s): M/s.L.Parvinbanu For Respondent(s): Mr.C.Jayaprakash Government Advocate ORDER This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking to direct the respondents 1- to 4 to measure the land and sub- divide the 5 cents belong to the petitioner in R.S. No.300/6A in Pali village,Ulundurpet Taluk, Kallakurichi district within a period fixed by this Court. 2.Mr.C.Jayaprakash, learned Government Advocate, takes notice on behalf of the respondents. By consent of the parties, the main writ petition is taken up for disposal at the admission stage itself. https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis WP No. 36062 of 2025 3.Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that originally the petitioner is the owner of the land situated in R.S.No.300/6A measuring 46 cents in Pali Village, Ulundurpet Taluk. Out of which, the petitioner sold 21 cents of land to Saleem, 10 cents to Sheil Babu and another 10 cents to Fakir Mohamed. Thereafter, sub-divisions were done and pattas were issued to the purchasers. Whereas, the balance 5 cents have not been identified and measured for the issuance of separate patta to the petitioner, despite of payment of necessary charges as early as on 27.09.2021. The petitioner made repeated representations dated 30.12.2024 and 15.07.2025 to the respondents, in this regard. However, no steps have been taken by the respondents to measure the land. Hence, the present writ petition has been filed. 4.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents. 5.Considering the submissions made by either parties, the respondents are directed to identify the 5 cents of land belong to the petitioner in R.S. https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis WP No. 36062 of 2025 No.300/6A in Pali village,Ulundurpet Taluk, Kallakurichi and demarcate the same and file report before this Court on or before 29.10.2025. 6.With the above directions, this writ petition is disposed of.
