HIGH COURT OF JUDICATURE AT ALLAHABAD WRIT - C No. - 35450 of 2025 Court No. - 6 HON'BLE DR. YOGENDRA KUMAR SRIVASTAVA, J. Heard Sri Jai Shankar Misra, learned counsel for the petitioner, Sri Anand Bhaskar Srivastava, learned Standing Counsel appearing for the State- respondents and Sri Azad Rai, learned counsel appearing for the respondent-Gram Sabha. The present petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent- authority to ensure compliance of an order stated to have been passed on 11.08.1989 in proceedings under Section 122B of the U.P.Z.A. & L.R. Act, 1950. Learned counsel appearing for the State-respondents and the respondent- Gram Sabha have raised an objection by pointing out that the writ petition is grossly barred by delay/laches and is not liable to be entertained. The pleadings in the writ petition do not contain any explanation for inordinate delay in filing the petition. Also, there is no disclosure of any material on the basis of which any cause of action could be said to have accrued to the petitioner to file the present petition. The writ petition is, therefore, not entertained. It is accordingly dismissed.
