ORDER:
The instant Writ Petition is filed by the Petitioner seeking indulgence of this Court under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for the following relief:
“ ... to issue an appropriate Writ, Order or Direction, more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus, by declaring the action of the respondents in interfering with the personal life and liberty of the petitioner by calling him to the police station and retaining him for hours together, as being illegal and arbitrary and consequently direct the respondents not to interfere with the personal life and liberty of the petitioner herein, and to pass ....”

Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home appearing for respondent Police on instructions would submit that the respondent Police never interfered with the personal life and liberty of the Petitioner and never called him to the police station as alleged in this Writ Petition and that this Court may pass appropriate directions and may dispose of this Writ Petition. 4. In that view, it is apposite to direct respondent Police not to interfere in the personal life and liberty of the Petitioner and follow due process of law if so required the presence of the Petitioner.
