She has been placed under suspension vide order dated 23.7.2025. Petitioner has challenged her suspension on various grounds. (3) Learned State Counsel was given time to get instructions. Today, on instructions, he submits that a chargesheet containing as many as four charges has been issued to the petitioner. He submits that the order of suspension was passed in contemplation of departmental enquiry and now departmental enquiry has been initiated by issuing a chargesheet. He submits that suspension is no punishment in the eyes of law and an employee is suspended in order to prevent him from destroying the evidence. (4) Learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that charges are motivated and the same has been levelled as a complaint was made by the petitioner against one ADO, Panchayat. (5) This Court is not expected to go into those aspects. Petitioner may raise all these issues before the Enquiry Officer. There are certain charges which on the face of it appear to be serious. Therefore, this Court do not find any reason to 2025:UHC:7489 interfere with the suspension order. (6) Accordingly, writ petition is disposed of with a direction to disciplinary authority to have the disciplinary enquiry concluded as early as possible but not later than six months from the date of production of certified copy of this order.
