1. Heard Mr. Surfaraj Khan, learned counsel for the petitioner in both the cases. Also heard Mr. S.S. Baghel, learned Deputy Government Advocate, appearing for the State in both the cases.
2. The CRMP No. 959 of 2017 has been filed by the petitioner with the following prayer:
“It is, therefore, prayed that the petition may kindly be allowed and the Criminal Case No. 444 of 2014 (annexure P/1), pending in the Court of learned JMFC, Dabhra, District Janjgir-Champa (C.G.), for the offences
3 punishable under Sections 409, 420, 467, 468, 477 and 201/34 of the IPC, only in respect to the petitioner, may kindly be quashed, in the interest of justice.”
3. The WP(227) No. 248 of 2020 has been filed by the petitioner with the following prayer:
“10.1 That, this Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to allow the petition and Criminal Case No. 444 of 2014 (annexure P/1), pending in the Court of learned JMFC, Dabhra, District Janjgir-Champa (C.G.), for the offences punishable under Sections 409, 420, 467, 468, 477 and 201/34 of the IPC, only in respect to the petitioner, may kindly be quashed, in the interest of justice. 10.2 That, this Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to call the entire records from the respondents authorities for its kind perusal. 10.3 Any other relief, which may be suitable in the facts and circumstances of the case, may also be granted.”

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the trial is in progress and statement of the petitioner has already been recorded under Section 313 of the Cr.P.C., hence, no interference is required by this Court at this stage, as there is no interim order in favour of the petitioner staying the proceedings of trial.
5. In view of the above, the present petitions are dismissed. However, it is made clear that the observations made hereinabove are
