HIGH COURT OF JUDICATURE AT ALLAHABAD PUBLIC INTEREST LITIGATION (PIL) No. - 3145 of 2025 Chief Justice's Court HON'BLE ARUN BHANSALI, CHIEF JUSTICE HON'BLE KSHITIJ SHAILENDRA, J.
1. This petition, purportedly in public interest, has been filed by the petitioner seeking relief with regard to the action of the respondent No. 6 and the official respondents.
2. A perusal of the petition indicates that the petitioner is aggrieved of the rituals, which are apparently going on for a long time and on 19.09.2025, representation was made and sent through registered post by the petitioner to respondent Nos. 1 and 3 and on 26.09.2025, the present petition has been filed.
3. Filing of PILs, immediately on making representations, without even waiting for the same reaching the respondents and any action/outcome on the said representation in a case where apparently there is no urgency in the matter, cannot be countenanced.
4. The petition is, therefore, dismissed leaving it open for the petitioner to pursue the representation.
