This writ petition has been filed with the following prayer:- "i) issue, a writ, order or direction in the nature of MANDAMUS commanding respondent Nos. 3 and 4 to ensure delivery of physical possession of the allotted land to the petitioners on which the names of predecessors in interest of the petitioners are existing." From perusal of the pleading, it appears that some allotment was made to predecessors of petitioners in the year 1970 and 1975. This writ petition has been filed after a lapse of more than 50 years seeking physical possession of the allotted land. The writ petition filed with great delay cannot be entertained. The writ petition is misconceived and stands dismissed.
