For Petitioner : Mr.P.Muthukrishnan For Respondent : Mr.P.Ganesan, GA ORDER 1/6 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis W.P.No.35974 of 2025 This writ petition has been filed to direct the respondents to forthwith sub divide and issue Separate Patta for the property of the petitioner measuring 8.20 acres in S No. 521/3B Andiyagoundanur Village No. 2 Udumalpet Taluk Tirupur district by passing necessary orders on the application No. 2025/0105/32/435744 of the petitioner dated 31.08.2025. 2. Mr.P.Ganesan, learned Government Advocate, takes notice on behalf of the respondent. 3. By consent of the parties, the main writ petition is taken up for disposal at the admission stage itself. 4. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that in this case, initially, the petitioner had purchased the subject property on 28.12.2021. Subsequently, on 29.08.2022, the Revenue District Officer had directed the Tahsildar to provide separate patta to the petitioner. Thereafter, on 31.08.2025, the petitioner had filed an online application 2/6 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis W.P.No.35974 of 2025 to sub-divide and issue a separate patta of the subject property before the 1st respondent. However, the said representation was not at all considered by the 1st respondent till date. Hence, this writ petition. 5. In reply, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents would request this Court to pass appropriate orders directing the respondents to consider and dispose of the representation filed by the petitioner. 6. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate for the respondents and also perused the materials available on record. 7. In the case on hand, initially, the petitioner had purchased the subject property on 28.12.2021. Subsequently, on 29.08.2022, the Revenue District Officer had directed the Tahsildar to provide separate patta to the petitioner. Thereafter, on 31.08.2025, the petitioner had filed an online application to sub-divide and issue a separate patta of the subject property before the 1st respondent. In view of the above, this Court directs the respondents to dispose of the petitioner's online application dated 31.08.2025 and issue a separate patta of the subject property in the name of the petitioner, after taking into consideration of the order passed by the RDO dated 29.08.2022 and after serving due notice to all the aggrieved persons if any, within a period of 6 weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. 9. With the above directions, this writ petition is disposed of.
