Heard counsel for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel as also the counsel appearing for respondent nos. 2 and 3. 2. The writ petition seeks the following relief: "i) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents 3 to make the payment of Rs. 60,00,000/ alongwith upto date interest against the work executed by the petitioner expeditiously within the period stipulated by this Hon'ble Court." 3. On earlier occasion, the Court had been informed that the payment was delayed on account of pendency of an enquiry which was being conducted on account of some complaints. 4. Today, learned Standing Counsel on the basis of instructions received has stated that the enquiry has been concluded and that the communication in this regard has been sent to the Executive Officer, respondent no.3 to proceed to make the payment due to the petitioner. 5. The counsel appearing for respondent nos. 2 and 3 states that he is aware of the communication referred to above and that the requisite payments shall be made to the petitioner within two weeks. 6. Under the circumstances, this petition is disposed of directing the respondents to make requisite payment to the petitioner within two weeks from today. 7.
