Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner. 2 The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner was arraigned as A.1 in C.C. No.280 of 2018 on the file of the Court of Additional Junior Civil Judge, Chirala, for the alleged offence under Section 498-A of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 and Sections 3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961. 3. The learned counsel further submits that L.W.2 was examined as P.W.1 in part, and for further examination, the matter has been adjourned several times. It is also submitted that during the pendency of the case, L.W.1, who was the de facto complainant, passed away. 4. Considering the same, the Additional Junior Civil Judge, Chirala, shall make an endeavour to dispose off C.C. No.280 of 2018 as expeditiously as possible preferably within six months from the date of receipt of the order. 5.
