The present Writ Petition has been filed by the petitioners for following reliefs:- “10.1 That, this Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to direct the respondent authorities to provide the back wages from 10.07.1989 to 24.03.2006 because the petitioner had been terminated illegally from his service by the respondent authorities. 10.2 That, this Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to direct the respondent authorities to provide the benefit of 7 promotions. 10.3 That, this Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to direct the respondent authorities to grant compensation amounting to Rs. 1,00,00,000/-(Rupees One Crore) for mental harassment as illegal departmental enquiry from 01.05.2010 to 03.02.2023 (12 years and one month) which was conducted by the respondent 4 authorities against the petitioner.” 2. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that similar Writ Petitions have been disposed of by the coordinate bench of this Court on 14/11/2024 i.e. WPS No. 4097/2020 and connected matters. The present writ petition may also be disposed of in light of the pleadings made by the State in paragraph 6 of their reply filed in WPS No. 4097/2020, which has been reiterated at paragraph 6 by the coordinate bench in its order dated 14/11/2024. 3. Learned counsel does not dispute that similar Writ Petitions wherein the same issue involved, has been disposed of by the Coordinate bench of this Court. He fairly submits that the Writ petition may be disposed of in terms of the order passed in WPS No. 4097/2020 on 14/11/2024. 4. I have heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the pleadings. 5. Paragraph 6 of the order dated 14/11/2024 passed in WPS No. 4097/2020 reads as under:- “6. The State in its return, particularly in paragraph 6 has stated as under:- 6. It is respectfully submitted that the State Government Department of Woman and Child Development, vide instruction dated 03/03/2020 (Annexure-P/4), issued an instruction whereby it has been directed that Sahayika given priority for appointment in case of vacancy arose in future. The District Programme Officer, Woman and Child Development, District Surajpur has duly informed that in near future, any new Angabadi Centre is opened, the case of the petitioner would be considered for appointment on the 5 post of Anganbadi Worker/Sahayika upon application, if she is being found fit as per the policy/guidelines framed for appointment of Aanganbnadi Worker/ Sahaiya. Copy of the letter dated 05/08/2024 is filed herewith as Annexure-R/1. 6. In view of the factual scenario and the submissions made by both the parties, this Writ Petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents’ authorities to consider the claim of the petitioners in light of the terms/pleadings made in their reply filed in WPS No. 4097/2020 and connected matters.
