The present petition has been filed under Section 528 BNSS, 2023 seeking directions to appoint a Police Officer not below the rank of Senior Superintendent of Police, to look into the representation dated 06.05.2025 and 16.05.2025 and to protect the petitioner’s life and liberty. It is stated in the petition that the petitioner has already made representation dated 06.05.2025 (Annexure P-3) before the Senior Superintendent of Police, Chandigarh raising the said grievances, but no action has been taken so far. 2. At the very outset, learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner would be satisfied if appropriate directions are issued to respondent No.3-Senior Superintendent of Police, Chandigarh to consider the aforesaid representation filed by the petitioner and take necessary action thereon. 3.
