Respondent No.3 National Insurance Company Ltd. has agreed to pay sum of Rs. 3,50,000/- to the appellant Smt. Amrit Kaur over and above the compensation awarded by the learned MACT, Una vide award dated 9.01.2019 in CMAP No. 117 of 2016. 1 Whether reporters of Local Papers may be allowed to see the judgment? -2- 4. The appellant Smt. Amrit Kaur has also agreed to accept the amount, as noticed above in full and final satisfaction of all her claims against the respondents. 5. Accordingly, this appeal is disposed of in terms of the settlement arrived at between the parties during the mediation proceedings and as recorded by the learned Mediator vide his proceedings dated 5.9.2025. The said proceedings of learned Mediator have been signed by the appellant and Assistant Manager of National Insurance Company Ltd, duly identified by their respective counsel. 6. Respondent No.3 is directed to deposit the amount of Rs. 3,50,000/- within one month from today in the Registry of this Court, as agreed between the parties. 7. The appeal is disposed of.
