The present contempt petition arises out of the judgment dated 12.02.2024, whereby the writ petition-WP(C) No. 10/2024 came to be disposed of with a direction to the respondents to treat the writ petition as a representation on behalf of the petitioner and to accord consideration to the same strictly in conformity with the rules and in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from the date a copy of the writ petition along with its annexures, as also a copy of the order, was made available to the respondents. It was further made clear that while considering the representation of the petitioner, the respondents shall also give due weightage to the communication placed on record as Annexure-III to the writ petition. 2. Compliance report, along with a consideration order dated 03.12.2025, stands filed. Vide the said consideration order, sanction has been accorded for allotment of funds to the tune of Rs. 4,71,176/-under MH-3051 M&R in favour of the Superintending Engineer, R&B Circle, Srinagar South, for further release to the Executive Engineer, R&B Project Division-I, Srinagar, in connection with the work titled “Development of Central Verge of Bypass from Chanpora Bridge towards Nowgam Chowk”, which is the subject matter of the instant contempt petition. The release of funds, however, is subject to the conditions stipulated in the consideration order itself. 3. In view of the stand taken by the respondents in the compliance report, no fruitful purpose would be served by keeping the present petition pending any further, as the order/judgment stands complied with.
