Mr.R.P.Murugan Raja, learned Government Advocate takes notice on behalf of respondents. By consent of both the parties, this writ petition is taken up for disposal at the stage of admission itself. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner and his family, cultivating the land comprised in S.No.8 and 9, to an extent of 4.50 acres, situated at Chinnaguthi Village, Melumalai, Shoolagiri Taluk, Krishnagiri District for the past three generation. Originally, the land was classified as punja land, however under UDR scheme, the same was wrongly mentioned as podugal poromboke. Therefore, the petitioner made representation dated 21.04.2025 before the first respondent, seeking re-classification of the said land, survey and issue patta. However, the said representation was not considered, till date. Learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents would submit that the aforesaid land is a poromboke land, hence, the petitioner's representation cannot be considered. 5. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials available on record. 6. Taking into account the factual scenario, petitioner's occupation and his long-term use of the land, the respondents are directed to decide the petitioner's representation for issuance of patta, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. With the aforesaid direction, this writ petition is disposed of.
