Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, Shri Tejasvi Misra, learned counsel for respondent No.4 and perused the record. 2. This writ petition has been filed seeking following relief :- "a suitable writ, order or direction in the nature of MANDAMUS commanding and directing the learned Presiding Officer, Land Acquisition Rehabilitation and Resettlement Authority, Gautam Budh Nagar to expeditiously decide the pending amendment application in array of party in place of Onkar Singh (dead) bearing paper no.31Ga dated 23.02.2024, recall application as paper no.38Ga dated 21.6.2024 filed in the Land Acquisition Reference No. 357/2023 (Old No.528/1997), Albel Singh and others Vs. State of U.P. and another, within stipulated time period as deem fit and by this Hon'ble Court and in the meantime, the learned Presiding Officer may be restrain from making further hearing of the pending proceeding of the above said reference case." 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the above- mentioned amendment application is pending consideration since 2024 and the same has not been decided till date. Learned counsel prayed that the same may be decided, expeditiously. 4. Since the above-mentioned application is pending, no useful purpose would be served in keeping this petition pending. 5. In view of the above, this writ petition stands disposed of with a direction to the Presiding Officer, Land Acquisition Rehabilitation and Versus Counsel for Petitioner(s) : Raj Narayan Tiwari Counsel for Respondent(s) : C.S.C., Tejasvi Misra Rajeev Kumar .....Petitioner(s) Presiding Officer, Land Acquisition Rehabilitation And 17 Others .....Respondent(s) Resettlement Authority, Gautam Budh Nagar to decide the above- mentioned application, in accordance with law, expeditiously, preferably within twelve weeks from the date of production of a certified copy of this order, after ensuring service of notice upon all the respondents and providing opportunity of hearing to all the concerned parties provided there is no other legal impediment.
