Present writ petition is filed by petitioner praying that opposite party no.1- Appellate Authority Additional Commissioner-I Varanasi Division, Varanasi to pass an order upon the stay application dated 06.08.2024 pending in appeal no.2048 of 2024, District Jaunpur (Computerized Case No.C202414000002048) "Babu Ram vs. Amar Nath and Ors". 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the appeal arises out of the proceedings under section 24 of U.P. Revenue Code which are required to be decided within a statutory period of ninty days. 4. Looking into the facts and circumstances of the case, without entering into the merits of the case, opposite party no.1- Additional Commissionier-I Varanasi Division, Varanasi is directed to decide the appeal no.2048 of 2024 in accordance with law, by a reasoned and speaking order, as expeditiously as possible, say within a period of 90 days from the date, a certified copy of this order is placed before him, after hearing all the parties concerned. No unnecessary adjournment shall be granted by opposite party no.2 including on the ground of strike of lawyers. 5. With the aforesaid direction, present writ petition is disposed of.
