The present writ petition has been filed challenging the order of District Supply Officer, Varanasi dated 16.7.2025, whereby licence of fair price shop of the petitioner has been cancelled. 3. Learned Standing Counsel raises a preliminary objection that in view of clause 13 of the U.P. Essential Commodities (Regulation of Sale and Distribution Control) Order, 2016, the petitioner has remedy of filing an appeal against the order impugned before the Divisional Commissioner. 4. In view of the aforesaid facts, the present writ petition is disposed of permitting the petitioner to approach the Divisional Commissioner by filing an appeal.
