The present criminal appeal under Section 14-A(1) Scheduled Castes & Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act has been preferred to set-aside the impugned summoning order dated 11.02.2025 passed by learned Special Judge (SC/ST (P.A.) Act), Kanpur Nagar in S.T. No. 195 of 2025 (State of U.P. Versus Rakesh Soni and others), arising out of Case Crime No. 704 of 2022 under Sections 147, 323, 325, 504, 506 IPC and Sections 3 (2) (5) (A),, 3(1)(r) 3(1)(s) SC/ST (P.A.) Act, 1989, P.S.- Chakeri, District- Kanpur Nagar, pending in the Court of Special Judge (SC/ST Act), Kanpur Nagar. 3. During arguments, learned counsel for the appellants has submitted that he does not want to press the prayer for quashing of the above mentioned case. His sole prayer is that a direction may be issued to the court below to decide the bail application of the appellants in accordance with law. 4. Considering the alternative prayer made by learned counsel for the appellants, the present appeal is disposed of with the direction that in case the appellants filed bail application before the court below, the same shall be heard and decided by the court below expeditiously in accordance with law.
