The appellant-Shriram General Insurance Company Limited has agreed to pay and respondent has/have agreed to receive lump-sum amount of Rs.70,000/- (Rupees Seventy Thousand Only), in additional to what has been awarded by the Tribunal, in full and final settlement of the claim. 3. In view of the settlement arrived in MFA No.201740/2019 filed by the Insurance Company, the MFA No.200421/2020 filed by the claimant/s is disposed off. 4. The appellant-Shriram General Insurance Company Limited has agreed to deposit the said amount before the - - 4 Tribunal within six weeks from the date of preparation of award, failing which the said amount shall carry interest at 9% p.a. from the date of default till the date of deposit. The parties are not entitled for any cost. 5. The parties to this appeal have set their hands to this settlement before the Lok-Adalat in the presence of Conciliators on this the 08.03.2025 at Kalaburagi Bench. 6. The entire amount shall be released in favour of the Claimant. 7. The amount in deposit, if any, be transmitted to the concerned Tribunal. 8. The Miscellaneous First Appeal stand disposed of in terms of the Joint Memo. The award of the Tribunal shall stand modified accordingly. Draw up the award accordingly.
