According to petitioner, he was engaged on contract through outsourcing agency to discharge duties as security guard in Govind Ballabh Pant University of Agriculture and Technology; he served in the said capacity between 2010 to May, 2025 and thereafter his engagement was abruptly discontinued. By means of this writ petition, petitioner has sought the following reliefs: “i) To issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the respondents to reinstate the services of the petitioner on the post of Security Guard and pay him regular salary with all consequential benefits. ii) To issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the respondents to consider the application of the petitioner for reinstate her in service.” 3. Mr. Lingwal, learned counsel appearing for the University submits that if petitioner has any grievance against his disengagement, then he can make representation to the competent authority. 4. The writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of by permitting petitioner to make 2025:UHC:7553 representation to the Establishment Officer, G.B. Pant University of Agriculture and Technology within ten days from today. If petitioner makes such representation within the stipulated time, decision thereupon shall be taken within ten weeks thereafter.
