The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Herhanj P.S. Case No. 05 of 2025 for the offences registered under sections 17, 18, 29 of the N.D.P.S. Act, pending in the court of learned Sessions Judge-cum- Special Judge, N.D.P.S., Latehar. On 21.01.2025 at about 11:00 A.M., Herhanj police on the basis of confidential information that poppy was cultivated in Mari Tola, Pandram, destructed the poppy cultivation. It was submitted that name of the petitioner come on the basis of statement given by local persons, whose names have not been disclosed by the prosecution. In view of the submission made above, I am inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees twenty thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Sessions Judge-cum-Special Judge, N.D.P.S., Latehar, in connection with Herhanj P.S.
