Heard Sri Gautam Kumar Upadhyay, learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri Anand Bhaskar Srivastava, learned Standing Counsel appearing for the State-respondents. The present petition has been filed seeking a direction to respondent no.2- Sub Divisional Magistrate, Gautam Buddh Nagar to decide the application under Section 24 of the U.P. Revenue Code, 2006 bearing case no. T20251127012695 (Satish Kumar vs. State of U.P. and others), within a stipulated time period. Counsel for the petitioner has referred to a direction issued by the Sub Divisional Magistrate, Sadar, Gautam Budh Nagar on 30.06.2025 calling for a report from the Tehsildar, Sadar to indicate the pendency of the aforesaid proceedings. Learned counsel submits that the delay in disposal of the said case is causing undue hardship to the petitioner. Accordingly, a prayer is made to expedite the proceedings. Learned counsel appearing for the State-respondents has no objection to the prayer so made. Having regard to the aforementioned facts and circumstances and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, the present petition is disposed of with an observation that the court concerned would be expected to make an endeavor to decide the aforesaid case in accordance with law, expeditiously preferably within a period of three months from the date of production of certified copy of the instant order, provided Versus Counsel for Petitioner(s) : Amit Singh Yadav, Gautam Kumar Counsel for Respondent(s) : C.S.C.
