Ajay Mohan Goel, Judge (Oral) By way of this petition, the petitioner has, inter alia, prayed for the following reliefs:- “i) allow the petition and the respondents may be directed to provide connection of sewerage line to the house of the petitioner in the interest of justice, or; ii) to direct the respondents No.1 to 6 to lay alternative underground sewer line of the house of the petitioner to the main sewer line. Iii) to direct the respondents to give permission to the petitioner to lay down sewer line from under the road till the main sewer line.” 1 Whether reporters of the local papers may be allowed to see the judgment? 2 2025:HHC:34127 2. Learned Counsel for the parties submits that in light of the judgment delivered by this Court in CWP No.10931 of 2023, titled Sh. Rajinder Kumar Sen and others Versus State of Himachal Pradesh and others, decided on 30.07.2025, this petition can be disposed of by directing that the directions passed therein by the Court to the Authorities be read as having been passed in this petition also, with further direction to the Authorities to perform their statutory duties and thus, provide sewerage connection to the house of the petitioner. 3. Accordingly, as prayed for, this petition is disposed of by observing that the directions that have been passed by this Court with regard to the statutory provisions of the Municipal Act, 1994, shall be construed to have been passed in this petition also and the respondents are, accordingly, directed to ensure that necessary sewerage connection is provided to the petitioner in accordance with law by adhering to the statutory provisions of the Municipal Act, 1994.
