A case has been registered against the petitioner herein and others for the offence punishable under Section 8(c) read with 20(b)(ii)(C) of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act,1985 (for short lthe NDPS Act'). 3. Case of the prosecution, in brief, is that, on 28.10.2024, at about 12.00 hours, on receipt of credible information, the Sub Inspector of Police, Pithapuram Town Police Station, along with his staff and mediators, rushed to NH-216 by-pass road near Raparthi Road junction, Agraharam, Pithapuram Town, and caught hold of one motor cyclist and p€` F* _ 2 Dr-VJP,I Crl.P.No.2470 of2025 three persons in an Afuto while one person escaped. police seized 88 Kgs of Ganja from their possession and a case has been registered against them. 4. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned AssI'Stant publI'C Prosecutor representing the respondenvstate. perused the material on record. 5. Petitioner/A2 was arrested on o1.ll.2024 and since then he is in J'udl'Cl'al Custody. Learned Assl-slant publI'C Prosecutor submitted that major portion of investigation has been completed and the charge sheet could not be filed for want of inventory. 6. In view of the aforesal'd facts and circumstances of the case, this court is inclined to grant bail to the petitioner/A2 on the following conditions. i) The petitioner/A2 sha" be released on ba" on his executing a personal bond for Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) with two suretI'eS Of the like sum each to the satisfaction of the learned Judicial MagI-Strafe of FI'rSt Class, Pithapuram.
