Delay in filing the short counter affidavit is condoned. Short counter affidavit filed by the State is taken on record. Delay Condonation Application (IA/2/2025) made therefor, is allowed. 4. It has been stated by learned State Counsel in its short counter affidavit that after investigation, charge-sheet has been submitted against the petitioner on 31.08.2024, therefore, nothing remains to be decided in this writ petition and it has become infructuous. 5. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he would challenge the said charge-sheet in the appropriate proceedings before the appropriate forum. 6. In view of the statement made by learned counsel for the parties, the present criminal writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. However, it is open to petitioner to challenge the charge- sheet in appropriate proceedings, before the appropriate forum. 7. Interim order dated 28.08.2024 stands vacated.
