Bhowmik, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner. Also heard Mr. S.M. Chakraborty, learned Advocate General assisted by Mr. P. Gautam, learned counsel appearing for the respondents. The present petitioner is now working as the Headmaster of Ramnagar Higher Secondary School and vide notification dated 23.06.2025, he has been transferred on promotion to District Education Office, South Tripura, Belonia. According to the petitioner, he is a cardiac patient having been diagnosed with ‘Anterior wall M.I’ and ‘triple’ vessel coronary artery disease. According to him, he underwent coronary angiogram along with PTCA with stenting and thereafter, he also visited R.N. Tagore Hospital, Kolkata. Mr. Bhowmik, learned counsel submits that the petitioner being a cardiac patient requires regular medical attention which is available at Agartala. Therefore, his posting at Belonia will cause serious hardship to him for receiving his treatment there. Mr. Bhowmik, learned counsel also submits that before the promotion cum transfer order was issued, he submitted one representation to the Director of Secondary Education, Government of Tripura, Agartala on 02.06.2025 but without considering the same, he has been transferred at Belonia. Mr. Chakraborty, learned Advocate General appearing for the respondents and under instruction from the respondents, submits that the respondents are ready to consider the case of petitioner on sympathetic ground and as per impugned transfer order, one Pranay Debbarma who has been asked to join as Joint Director, Director of School Education, Agartala will be going on Sujay superannuation on 31st July, 2025 and thereafter, the department will be in a position to consider the case of the petitioner to bring him back from Belonia to Agartala against the said post. Learned Advocate General also submits that in this regard, a representation is required to be submitted by the petitioner to the competent authority. In view of such submission of learned Advocate General, Mr. Bhowmik, learned counsel submits that he is not pressing the writ petition and necessary representation in this regard will be submitted to the competent authority. Mr. Bhowmik, learned counsel submits that in the meanwhile, the petitioner will join in his proposed place of posting at Belonia on promotion complying the notification dated 23.06.2025. In view of the above submissions of both sides, the writ petition is disposed of as not pressed. Interim application(s), if any, also stands disposed of.
