Yadav, learned counsel for petitioners-school and Sri J.P. Rai, learned counsel for respondents. 2. Petitioners-school was granted permission to run NCC Junior Division, which was rejected, however, it was restored in pursuance of an order of this Court. Now petitioner-school wants that respondents may grant permission to run NCC Senior Division to petitioner-school. 3. To grant or not to grant permission is entirely discretion of Directorate of National Cadet Corps on basis of performance and other parameters, therefore, no mandamus could be granted. 4. However, in case students in NCC Junior Division are successful and get certificate and if there is a requirement for NCC Senior Division, the concerned respondents will take note of performance of students and college and if there is no legal impediment, permission for NCC Senior Division may be granted also. 5. Writ petition stands disposed of with above observations. October 10, 2025 N.
