Yes. 2 2. Petitioner’s simple case is that she had participated in the selection process for the post of ASHA in Gram Panchayat Ranjindu, District Chamba alongwith several other candidates. Interviews for the post were conducted on 03.06.2023. Petitioner did not emerge successful. Respondent No.5 was selected against the post in question. Feeling aggrieved against the selection criteria adopted by the selection committee, the petitioner preferred an appeal under Clause 6 of the applicable Guidelines dated 17.08.2019 before respondent No.3-Chief Medical Officer, Chamba, District Chamba on 16.10.2024. Petitioner’s grievance is that the aforesaid appeal has not been adjudicated till date by the authority. 3. Without going into the question of maintainability of this writ petition and without examining the merits of the matter, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.3 to consider and decide the appeal stated to have been preferred by the petitioner, referred to above, in accordance with law and applicable guidelines within a period of eight weeks from today. Learned Deputy Advocate General to communicate this order to the concerned quarter forthwith. 3 The writ petition stands disposed of in the above terms, so also the pending miscellaneous application(s), if any.
