Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the respondents. 2. The petitioner by means of the present writ petition has prayed for the following relief:- "i. Issue a writ of mandamus directing respondent authorities to ensure that petitioner is not obstructed by private respondent no.6 in the lawful construction and operation of petrol pump dealership of HPCL. ii. Direct the police authorities to provide adequate protection to the petitioner and his family for completion of the project. iii. Issue any other writ, order or direction which this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper under the circumstances of the case. iv. To award the cost of the petition to the petitioner." 3. Perusal of writ petition discloses that it is private respondent no.6 who is creating hindrances in construction of petrol pump of petitioner. If that be so, the petitioner has ample remedy in criminal law as well as in civil law against the respondent no.6, if he is illegally interfering with the construction of petrol pump of Versus Counsel for Petitioner(s) : Jitendra Shanker Pandey Counsel for Respondent(s) : C.S.C., Nishant Mehrotra Yousuf Ali .....Petitioner(s) State Of Uttar Pradesh And 5 Others .....Respondent(s) petitioner. 4. In such view of the fact, we do not find any merit in the writ petition. Accordingly, we dismiss the writ petition with liberty to the petitioner to avail other appropriate remedy available under the law.
