GP FOR SERVICES I The Court made the following: ORDER: The present writ petition is filed seeking the following relief: “to issue an appropriate writ, order or direction, more particularly, one in the nature Writ of Mandamus, declaring the action of the respondents 3 to 6 in not allowing the petitioner to work as Village Organization Assistant (VOA) in 7th respondent Society at Khambhampadu Village, Macherla Mandal, Palnadu District, even though her tenure is in vogue without issuing any notice, order or communication, as illegal, arbitrary, in gross violation of Articles 14 and 16 of the Constitution of India and consequently, direct the respondents to allow the petitioner to work as VOA in 7th respondent Society till the completion of her tenure as per the resolution of the Society, dated 10.10.2023, and pass…” 2 CGR, J. W.P.No.6204 of 2025 2. Petitioner has been appointed as Village Organization Assistant (VOA) in 7th respondent Society by passing necessary resolution, initially, on 06.06.2020, for a period of three years and by recent resolution, dated 10.10.2023, her services have been extended for a further period of three years, which would expire by 09.10.2026, however, respondents 3 to 6 on 12.02.2025 orally directed petitioner not to attend duties as they intend to engage new person in place of petitioner. Aggrieved by the same, petitioner has approached this Court by filing present writ petition. 3. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Services-I appearing for 1st respondent and Sri Haribabu, learned standing counsel for respondents 2 to 6, on instructions, submit that 7th respondent Society by resolution, dated 10.12.2024, removed petitioner as V.O.A. on the ground that she completed three years period and in her place one Ms.Sri Lakshmi has been appointed. 4. Since petitioner has been now removed by way of resolution passed by the majority members of 7th respondent Society and a new person came to be appointed, the prayer made in the present writ petition rendered infructuous. However, petitioner is at liberty to make representation to 7th respondent Society for continuation of service in 3 CGR, J. W.P.No.6204 of 2025 view of the fact that she has not been completed three years of service, which being the reason for removal under resolution, dated 10.12.2024. In case, such representation is made, 7th respondent Society is directed to place it in its General Body meeting and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law. 5. Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No order as to costs.
