Heard learned counsel for the applicant and learned A.G.A for the State as also perused the record. 2. This application under Section 482 Cr.P.C. has been filed seeking direction to the concerned court below to decide the proceedings of Criminal Case No.26500 of 2023 (State vs. Mohit Kumar and others), arising out of Case Crime No.830 of 2022, Under Sections 498A, 323, 504, 506 IPC and 3/4 D.P. Act, Police Station-Civil Lines, District-Moradabad, pending before the court of Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate-II, Moradabad. 3. In compliance of earlier order dated 02.12.2024, a report from Additional Judge Small Causes Court, Moradabad has been placed on record as is evident from office report dated 03.03.2025. From perusal of the aforesaid report, it transpires that the charge sheet was filed on 03.06.2023 and charge was framed on 25.10.2024. Number of prosecution witnesses in the charge sheet is 16. PW-1, Rishika has been examined befoe the court concerned on 15.02.2025. Cross examination is going on. 4. Having gone through the relief as sought for, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, the present application is finally disposed of with a direction to the court below to decide aforesaid case in accordance with law, without granting unnecessary adjournments to either of the parties, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of one year from the date of production of a certified copy of this order, if there is no legal impediment.
