ORDER Ms.Sukhila, Inspector of Police, GNT Road, Madhavaram, Chennai 600 060, is present before this Court at the time of hearing.
2. This Contempt petition has been filed against the respondent for wilful disobedience of the order of this Court in Crl.OP No.942 of 2024 dated 22.01.2024.
3. When the matter was taken up for hearing today, the affidavit of the respondent is filed and the relevant portions are extracted hereunder :-
10. I submit that during the course of investigation the then Inspector of Police examined the 12 witnesses and also collected the medical report of the deceased.

Cont.P.No.252 of 2025 consumed Alcohol and he was in the intoxication condition, so he drove the vehicle in a rush and negligence manner and fell in the dig.
12. I submit that after completion of detailed and elaborate investigation the then inspector of Police closed the FIR No.607/2016 as Further Action Dropped (FAD) and the same was filed before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Thiruvottiyur

4. In the light of the above development, liberty is granted to the petitioner to work out his remedy before the concerned Jurisdictional Court by filing a protest petition and proceed further in accordance with law.
