By the present writ petition, the petitioner is seeking a direction towards the respondent Tehsildar to decide the application under Section 178 of CGLRC which has been filed by the petitioner on 18.07.2022 for partition of the land joindly owned by the family members. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the application has been filed on 18.07.2022, though the Tehsildar has taken cognizance of the said application but till date the final order has not been passed by the Tehsildar. 3 3. Learned State counsel would submit that if the application is still pending, the same shall be considered in accordance with law within a period of 45 days. 4. I have heard learned counsels for the parties and perused the order sheet of the Tehsildar, by which the Tehsildar has taken cognizance of the application under Section 178 of CGLRC filed by the petitioner on 18.07.2022. 5. It appears that the application is pending since last more than two and a half years, hence it is directed that the Tehsildar shall consider the application under Section 178 of CGLRC in accordance with law within a period of 45 days.
