By this petition, petitioner herein is seeking extraordinary writ jurisdiction of this Court under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, thereby challenging show cause notice dated 07.11.2025, issued by respondent No.3 under Section 253(1) of the Jammu Municipal Corporation Act, 2000, which as per the petitioner has been issued without any jurisdiction and is not in consonance with law. 02. Mr. Ravinder Gupta, learned AAG states that the petitioner has already been responded to the impugned show cause notice dated 07.11.2025, however, the same has not been considered by the respondents so far. 03. Learned counsel for the petitioner states that the instant petition can be disposed of with a direction to respondent No.3 to consider the reply filed by the petitioner to the show cause notice within a reasonable period of time. 04. Learned counsel for the respondents is not averse to the proposition made by learned counsel for the petitioner. Sr. No. 15 2 05. Be that as it may, the instant petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.3 to consider the reply filed by the petitioner within a period of two weeks from the date of passing of this order by passing a speaking order. Till the reply of the petitioner is considered and a speaking order is passed, the respondents are directed not to take any coercive measure against the petitioner. 06. Disposed of.
