Neutral Citation No. ( 2025:JHHC:30228 ) IN THE HIGH COURT OF JHARKHAND AT RANCHI Cr.M.P. No. 731 of 2021 Anjali Kumari, daughter of Shri Raju Sah, resident of H. No. 131, Road No.7, Bhuinyadih, Kalyan Nagar, PO: Agrico, PS: Sitaramdera, Jamshedpur, District: East Singhbhum. ... Petitioner Versus 1. The State of Jharkhand 2. Sanjay Kumar Thakur, son of Late Sitaram Thakur, resident of Slag Road, Bhalubasa, PO: Agrico, PS: Sitaramdera, Town: Jamshedpur, District: East Singhbhum. … Opposite Parties --- CORAM: HON’BLE MR. JUSTICE RONGON MUKHOPADHYAY For the Petitioner : Mr. Birendra Kumar, Advocate For the State : None --- 05/25.09.2025 Heard Mr. Birendra Kumar, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner. None appears on behalf of the State. This application has been preferred by the petitioner for cancellation of the bail granted to the opposite party no.2 in B.A. No. 7864 of 2020. Submission has been advanced by the learned counsel for the petitioner that after the opposite party no.2 was released on bail, there is always a threat perception hanging over the head of the petitioner and therefore, this application has been made for cancellation of bail granted to the opposite party no.2. From the submissions advanced by the learned counsel for the petitioner and the averments made in the instant application, there does not appear to be any justifiable reason for cancellation of the bail granted to the opposite party no.2 as no documentary evidence has been brought on record in order to substantiate the contention of the petitioner that her life is under threat since the moment the opposite party no.2 has been granted bail. Moreover, this application was preferred in the year 2021 and no development has been brought on record to bolster the claim of the petitioner with respect to the threat on her life. In view of the above, therefore, I do not find any reason to entertain this application which accordingly stands dismissed. (RONGON MUKHOPADHYAY, J.) Dated: 25.09.2025 S.B.
