JUSTICE SANJAY KUMAR MEDHI ORDER 18.07.2025 Heard Shri T Kalita, learned counsel for the applicant, who by means of this application has prayed for a correction in the order dated 08.03.2025 passed in IA(C)/549/2025 which had culminated from a proceeding in the Lok Adalat. It is submitted on behalf of the applicant that there were two appeals one of which was concerning to death and the other was for injury and while mentioning the amount, there was a mix up. The learned counsel for the applicant has submitted that so far as this application is concerned, the lump sum amount should have been Rs. 65,00,000/- on account of death and by mistake, Rs. 2,85,000/- has been written in the order which was pertaining to the other case relating to injury. After consideration of the submissions of the learned counsel for the applicant and on perusal of the materials on records, the order dated 08.03.2025 passed in the IA(C)/549/2025 is corrected and the lump sum amount is to be read as Rs. 65,00,000/- instead of Rs. 2,85,000/-.
