By means of the present writ petition, a direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents not to interfere in peaceful marital life of petitioners, has been sought. 3. At the very outset, learned Standing Counsel, on the basis of instructions received, apprised the Court that an application has already been preferred at the behest of petitioner no.1 before the concerned authority wherein it has been mentioned by petitioner no.1 that regarding her marriage with petitioner no.2, her family members have no objection and she is living with petitioner no.2, meaning thereby, she is not in need of police protection and in spite of that, the present petition for seeking protection has been preferred at her behest. 4.
