At the time of admission of the Writ Petition, this Court by order dated 17.09.2025, issued a direction to the 2nd respondent to submit a status report and for his appearance in the light of the Standing Orders of the Board of Revenue. Pursuant to the said direction, the 2nd respondent appeared before this Court and submitted a status report stating that already the request made by the petitioner for issuance of Patta was rejected on two occasions and, that the subject land is classified as Thoppu Poromboke and it is vested with the Panchayat.
