On advance notice, Ms. Ramta Chowdhary, learned Deputy Advocate General, Punjab, puts in appearance on behalf of the respondent/State and has placed on record the statements of the petitioners as well as respondent No.4. As per the said statements, there is no apprehension of threat to the life and liberty of the petitioners, and the petitioners have further stated that they do not want to pursue the matter and that no action be taken on the petition.
