SHAIK KHAJA BASHA The Court made the following: ORDER The above writ petition is filed to declare the notice dated 20.11.2014 and the consequential memo dated 19.11.2015 issued by respondent No.1 for eviction of the petitioner from the land in survey No.209/1 situated at Budhawarpet, Kurnool Town, Kurnool District, as illegal and arbitrary. 2. An interim order was granted on 21.01.2016, directing the respondents not to evict the petitioner from 100 x 100 yards in survey No.209/1 of Budhawarpet, Kurnool town, pending further orders. SRS,J W.P.No.1200 of 2016 3. Subsequently, I.A.No.1 of 2016 (WPMP No.5188 of 2016) was filed by a third party seeking to come on record as respondent No.3, and the said petition was allowed on 19.02.2025. Thereafter, the writ petition was listed on 11.03.2025. Since there was no representation for the petitioner on the said date, this Court requested learned standing counsel to instruct the Inspector Auditor, Waqf, Kurnool, respondent No.2, to inform the petitioner about the listing of this case and non-representation on its behalf. Accordingly, respondents 1 and 2 filed a memo dated 20.03.2025 along with a copy of the notice, issued to the petitioner, intimating the next date of hearing on 20.03.2025. 4. Despite intimation, there is no representation for the petitioner on 27.03.2025. Therefore, the matter was directed to be listed today, under the caption ‘for dismissal’. 5. Even today, there is no representation for the petitioner. It seems that the petitioner is not interested in prosecuting the writ petition. 6. Therefore, the Writ Petition is dismissed for non-prosecution. No costs.
