Heard learned counsel for the applicant and learned standing counsel for the opposite party. This contempt application has been filed for punishing the opposite party for willful disobedience of the order dated 7.4.2025 passed by this Court in Civil Misc. Writ Petition No. 2285 of 2025. wherein this Court has observed as under: " Consequently, we dispose of the instant petition with direction to respondent No. 2 to refer the claim of the petitioners for compensation to the said Committee within four weeks so that the same is decided by the Committee after proper survey and demarcation within next twelve weeks after due opportunity of hearing to the petitioners and the department. " It is stated that in spite of service upon the opposite party no order has yet been passed. Prima facie, a case of contempt has been made out. However, considering the facts and circumstances of the case, one more opportunity is afforded to the opposite party to comply with the aforesaid order of this Court within three months from the date of production of a copy of this order. The applicant shall supply a duly stamped registered envelope addressed to the opposite party and another self-addressed stamped envelope to the office within one week from today. The office shall send a copy of this order along with the self-addressed envelope of the applicant with a copy of contempt Versus Counsel for Applicant(s) : Prasoon Tomar Counsel for Opposite Party(s) : Bijendra Singh .....Applicant(s) Smt. Jasjit Kaur, District Magistrate .....Opposite Party(s) application to the opposite party within one week thereafter and keep a recorded thereof. The opposite party shall comply with the directions of the writ court and intimate him of the order through the self-addressed envelop within a week thereafter. With the aforesaid observations, this application is disposed. In case the order is not complied with by the opposite party within the aforesaid period, the applicant shall be at liberty to approach this Court again.
