Heard Sri Chandra Bhan Gupta, learned counsel for the petitioners and Sri Arvind Kumar Goswami, learned counsel for the respondents. 2. The present writ petition has been filed challenging the order dated 29.11.2024 passed by respondent no.4 under Section 45-A of the Employees' State Insurance Act, 1948. 3. Learned counsel for the respondents states that petitioners have alternative remedy of filing appeal under Section 45-AA of the Act of 1948. 4. Learned counsel for the petitioners states that as he has already deposited an amount of Rs.14,43,173/- in pursuance of the notice issued under the Act of 1948, therefore, the delay in filing the appeal may be condoned. 5. In view of the aforesaid facts, the present writ petition stands disposed of with liberty to the petitioners to avail the alternative remedy of filing appeal under the Act of 1948. In the interest of justice, if the petitioners file the appeal, within one week from today, the respondent no.1 shall decide the appeal, on merits, without taking any objection on the delay in filing it.
