Jyotsna Rewal Dua , J Notice. Mr. L.N. Sharma, learned Additional Advocate General, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents. With the consent of learned counsel for the parties, the matter is heard at this stage. 2. The writ petition has been filed for the grant of following substantive reliefs:- “(i) That appropriate writ in the nature of mandamus or any other appropriate writ order or direction may very kindly be issued to respondents to give the benefit of Grand-in-Aid. (ii) That respondent may very kindly be directed to decide the representation of the petitioner which is pending before the respondent department.” 1 Whether reporters of the local papers may be allowed to see the judgment? 2 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has preferred a representation on 02.04.2024 (Annexure P- 3) to the respondent No.3/competent authority seeking grant-in-aid. Learned counsel further submitted that the petitioner would be satisfied, in case, the respondent No.3/competent authority is directed to decide the aforesaid representation, which has still not been decided, within a time bound schedule. Learned Additional Advocate General has no objection to the above prayer. 4. Having regard to the above submissions and without examining the merits of the matter, this writ petition is disposed of by directing respondent No.3/competent authority to consider and decide the aforesaid representation of the petitioner, in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from today.
