Srinivas Counsel for the respondents : The Government Pleader for Civil Supplies This Court made the following: ORDER: This writ petition is filed for the following relief: “…. to issue a Writ of Mandamus or any other appropriate Writ Order or direction declaring the action of the respondents more particularly the 2nd respondent in canceling the authorization of the petitioner vide R.C.No.1355/45/2024-A dated 29.01.2025 as illegal, arbitrary and violation of Articles 14, 19 and 21 of the Constitution of India and consequently to set aside the same by continuing the petitioner as fair price shop dealer for shop No.0717045 situated at Janapadu, Piduguralla Mandal, Paladu District (Guntur)……” 2 JS,J W.PNo.6087/2025 2. Heard both the learned counsel. 3. The petitioner is a fair price shop dealer and applied for 5 months’ leave. The 2nd respondent has directed him to appear on 16.01.2025 vide proceedings Rc.No.1355/45/2024-G, dated 08.01.2025. The petitioner has appeared before the 2nd respondent and submitted his explanation. Now, the 2nd respondent issued proceedings on 29.01.2025 suspending the authorization of the petitioner’s shop. 4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has submitted her explanation on 16.01.2025. But, due to political scenario, the Revenue officials have pressurized the petitioner to apply for leave, and requested this Court to pass necessary orders on her explanation. 5. Therefore, the Writ Petition is disposed of, directing the petitioner to submit his explanation afresh to the show cause notice dated 08.01.2025 issued by the 2nd respondent, within a period of ten (10) days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, and on receipt of such explanation, the respondents shall consider and pass appropriate orders thereon, after giving an opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioner, within a period of four (4) weeks thereafter. Till then, the impugned proceedings dated 29.01.2025 issued by the 2nd respondent canceling the authorization of the petitioner’s fair price shop stands suspended.
